Colorado Adult Day Programs Adult day care services are provided under the Medicaid waiver program for eligible clients. Services include health and social services, individual therapeutic and psychological activities furnished on a regularly scheduled basis in an adult day services center, as an alternative to long-term nursing facility care.
Easter Seals Easter Seals provides a variety of services at 400 sites nationwide for children and adults with disabilities, including adult day care, in-home care, camps for special needs children and more. Services vary by site.
Faith in Action Local Faith in Action programs bring volunteers of different faiths together to care for their homebound neighbors who may be isolated and living with chronic health conditions or disabilities. The Faith in Action volunteers come from churches, synagogues, and other houses of worship, as well as from the community at large, and provide many forms of non-medical assistance. 
Good Samaritan Society Offers many services around the country including respite care and adult day care. 

Greeley Center for Independence

A multi-faceted agency focused on services for people from more than 40 Colorado communities, as well as most of the contiguous 48 States. These people are living with neuro-muscular disease, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), and/or Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Serves approximately 1,200 individuals with temporary or permanent disabilities annually and now offers a full continuum of services. 

National Respite Coalition (NRC) Locator The National Respite Locator Service helps parents, caregivers, and professionals find respite services in their state and local area to match their specific needs. 
Shepherd's Centers of America Not available in Colorado but services are available in 21 other states.  The organization provides respite care, telephone visitors, in-home visitors, nursing home visitors, home health aides, support groups, adult day care, and information and referrals for accessing other services available in the community. Services vary by center. 
Woodward Respite Care Fund A special project of Denver OWL is the Woodward Respite Care Fund which provides support and financial assistance to family caregivers who need a break from their caregiving tasks. 
World Wide Adult Day Care - Denver, CO Adult day care for people with traumatic brain injury. They participate in the BI Waiver and offer PT, OT and ST. They have 2 individuals certified to administer Meds, an RN on site for 2 hours per day and an activities director. If a patient does not have Long Term Medicaid, they will do paperwork for them. They also offer transportation and will pick up and take home. The hours are from 8:30 to 6:00 and they provide breakfast, lunch and snacks. They are located on Parker and Dartmouth. They do a lot outings (park, BBQs, etc). Currently they have 20 clients. They take Medicaid BI Waiver, Long Term Care Insurance and self pay. Self pay is $50 per day which includes breakfast and lunch. Transportation is an additional $24. They offer a free day of service for interested clients to see if they are interested. They will also pick them up and take home.
