iCord International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries An interdisciplinary research centre for the development of effective strategies to promote functional recovery after spinal cord injury. This unique initiative brings together spinal cord injury researchers from the Sciences, Medicine, Surgery, Rehabilitation, Engineering, Education, and community-based Humanities research. ICORD is working to facilitate the discovery and implementation of relevant solutions to improve functional recovery, mobility, community integration and quality of life for people with spinal cord injury. 
Model Spinal Cord Injury System Dissemination Center A national database for SCI resources. Provides links to journal articles, news letters, presentations, and statistics dealing with SCI. 
National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research
National Institute of Neurological Disorders A cross between an educational site and a research site. Research consists of patient and family studies of varying degrees.

Spinal Cord Injury and Disease Resources Provides links to research sites. 
Spinal Cord Injury Information Network National SCI Statistical Center. Captures data from an estimated 13% of new SCI cases in the U.S. Since its inception, 26 federally funded Model SCI Care Systems have contributed data to the National SCI Database. As of October 2007 the database contained information on 25,415 persons who sustained traumatic spinal cord injuries.
