Candy received a B.S in Biology from Mount Olive College in 1997 and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 2000. Candy has been working in the field of neurological rehabilitation since 2000 and received an assistive technology practitioner (ATP) certification in 2005 and became a certified neurological clinical specialist (NCS) in 2007. Candy then received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain Health Care University in 2008. She has been involved in numerous research projects and has focused much of her career on interventions and program development promoting recovery after neurologic injury or disease. Candy is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Neurologic Section.
Candy is passionate about neurologic rehabilitation and recovery. She loves helping individuals neurologic disability and disease achieve their goals and she is especially focused on creating environments where people can work toward lifelong health and wellness. Outside of work, Candy enjoys spending time outdoors playing volleyball, running and skiing. Candy also enjoys spending time with friends and family and especially her niece and nephew.
Julie sets the direction and client care at the PEAK Center as our Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is also a certified CrossFit trainer and manages EKSO, Lokomat, Bioness, FES Devices, RT600, RT 300, and the Zero-Gravity Gait Trainer.
Julie’s DPT degree is from Regis University in Denver, CO. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her passion is working with individuals with neurological disabilities and diseases. She has a strong commitment to life-long learning, as she is consistently attending conferences and courses to keep up with the current best treatment strategies and continuing to grow as a professional. She has actively participated in multiple research studies.
Julie loves her job, her clients, and The PEAK. Her favorite part is empowering individuals to achieve their optimal health, wellness, and or recovery. "Nothing is more rewarding than to see my clients healthy and happy." Julie is best known for her compassion and her ability "think outside of the box" with her creative and individualized treatment techniques.
Outside of the PEAK Center, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves doing anything active: camping, hiking, cycling, running. She is a huge Broncos fan!
Kaci’s focus is on designing customized client exercise programs tailored to their individual needs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science as well as a Master’s Physical Education, Sports and Exercise Science both from the University of Central Missouri.
Kaci’s passions center around helping clients, pushing them to achieve their best and strive towards their goals. Kaci helps PEAK’s clients work toward healthier, active lifestyles. She’s learned from her clients to live every day to the fullest. Her motto is “attitude is everything, be thankful for what you have.”
Outside of PEAK, Kaci enjoys spending time with family, friends and her yellow lab. She is active, enjoys anything outdoors and sports.
TC holds a bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Midland University in Freemont, NB. He loves working with individuals with disabilities and appreciates their perspective and dedication to fitness.
TC played collegiate soccer and loves the outdoors including camping, hiking and snowboarding. He’s an avid fan of UNC basketball and Nebraska football.
Cristin provides business and marketing support to the PEAK Center from helping clients scheduling to spotting during challenging training sessions or individual workouts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from a hybrid business/engineering program at Texas &M. After over 15 years of work in consulting, project management and marketing/product development she has focused her attention towards a career in helping others.
Cristin enjoys hiking, skiing, camping and hanging out with her family and huskies.
