Candi Boyd, Chaplain
Candi joined Craig Hospital in 2005 as the Clinical Chaplain. A native of Mississippi, she received her B.S. in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University in 1999. Candi continued her education at Duke University, graduating in 2003 with a Master of Divinity. Finding her passion in the area of Chaplaincy, she completed her Residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. Candi conducts worship services at Craig, provides emotional and spiritual support to the patients, family and staff at Craig , and helps refer patients and families to local places of worship as requested . She is a member of the hospital’s Ethics Committee as well as a Clinical Member of ACPE, Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
