Craig Hospital is world-renowned as a premier rehabilitation and research hospital exclusively specializing in treating patients who have sustained spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. Craig is a 93-bed, private, not-for-profit, free-standing hospital that provides a comprehensive system of inpatient and outpatient medical care, rehabilitation, neurosurgical interventions, and long-term follow-up services.
Craig is proud to be a part of the NeuroRecovery Network (NRN), a program funded by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. The NRN is a national network comprised of seven leading rehabilitation centers designed to provide and develop therapies to promote functional recovery and improve the health and quality of life for people living with paralysis. Funded by the Reeve Foundation through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the NRN works to translate the latest scientific advances into effective, activity-based rehabilitation treatments. The NRN uses locomotor training, an intensive activity-based therapy to drive neurologic recovery, functional independence, and improve quality of life in people living with spinal cord injury.
